In the latest announcement by Veeam, they announced that in the next version of their ever-popular Veeam Backup and Recovery, version 7, they will include support for VMware vCloud Director. For some time I have been wishing that backup vendors would support the backup of vCD and I believe that Veeam is the first. I look forward to testing (and maybe even creating video training) on this exciting new feature!

Additionally, a new video interview has been posted of Veeam evangelist, Doug Hazelman (or @VMDoug as many people know him on Twitter). In the interview, Doug talks about how Veeam makes virtual infrastructure backup easy and affordable. He also talks about why Veeam creates modern data protection for for vSphere and Hyper-V virtual infrastructures.
