New 5nine Manager 5.0 Released – Affordable Centralized Management for Hyper-V Infrastructures

by David Davis on June 30, 2014

I’ve been testing 5nine Manager for Hyper-V in my lab environment and have been impressed with all that it can do. For SMBs who can’t afford System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM), 5nine Manager is a great low-cost alternative. They just released a new version with a lot of new features. Besides a centralized management GUI for Hyper-V Free Edition and Windows Server Core Hyper-V, 5nine Manager offers automated VM provisioning, Hyper-V cluster management, replication of cluster settings to a secondary site, grouping of VMs, and the ability to protect all Hyper-V VMs with agentless anti-virus, built-in.

Below, you’ll find some screenshots of the interface, the press release, and links to try it free for 30 days. Enjoy!
