According to VMware, their new Thinstall / ThinApp software allows you to “Run any version of virtually any application on a single operating system without conflicts. Encapsulate settings and configurations into a single executable file or MSI package that can be installed on physical and virtual desktops. Deliver and deploy applications more efficiently, more securely, and in a more cost-effective way with agentless application virtualization.”
