I think that project horizon is similar to Citrix Dazzle which is their flavor of an app store that lets you check out published Citrix apps. Similar idea but different since VMware is doing with SaaS apps.
Jun 13, 2011: I just heard about the HP Microserver. Third party Kingston memory is now only about $119.99 (Kingston 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM ECC Unbuffered DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Server Memory Model KVR1333D3E9SK2/8G). Would this change your mind a bit about the TCO of the server? I’m compare this to a Synology NAS DS410 with no hard disk priced at $479 and I think the HP Microserver has potential as small home vm lab.
